GNL

Besides music, this is what our musicians would have become Isaac Isejjombwe.

Starting today, we are going to be looking at what our musicians would have been if it hadn’t been music and we’ll be exhausting at least two musicians until we finalize with each and every one of them.

GNL

Many refer to him as the king of hip hop in Uganda, while others refer him to be the Luga flow maestro but he prefers himself as the face of hip hop in Uganda. GNL’s debut was way back in 2005 in mother Africa with the all hip hop artist. He took a musical break for like two year until 2008 when he made a comeback with his Soda Jinjale hit which saw him scoop the hip hop song for that same year and until now, he has not looked back. Some of the hits that have made GNL a force to reckon with in hip hop category include Soda, Luka, Ani yaliamanyi with the late Elly Wamala, mwana wababa with Percussion Discussion, Omusajja, Koyi Koyi among others. When asked what he would have been if it were not music, GNL said he would be a structural engineer or environmental scientist. About his income, GNL bags 1 million shillings on every concert he attends.

Rabadaba

Formerly in Spontaneous alongside Gatimo, Munveko and Gwe Gwendaba were some of the first hits the duo came up with before separating over different issues.
Raaba as he prefers to be called concentrated on a solo career while Gatimo gave music a break. Rabadaba teamed up with GNL and AY from Tanzania in Soda remix which gave him the long awaited exposure he deserved. He is also one of the artists in Swangz Anthem hit which features all musicians from different categories.
