Diamond Oscar: I believe that one day I will be a worldwide star

I’m a Ugandan Afro-Caribbean musician and I’m soon releasing an eight-song album titled ‘Kitokota’. Six of the songs were produced by Didi who is now in London perusing a degree in Music Instrument engineering (MIE) and the rest were produced by Geoffrey, both producers at the TVR studios in Kizito towers.

I’m 19 years of age born in a family of five children and I am the first-born. Unfortunately, both my parents died 11 years ago. I am a Munyoro by tribe but I sing in Luganda because grew up in Buganda.

Buju Banton and the late Menton Summer are some of the artists that inspire me. The inspiration drove me to record my first song ‘Bagala baggaga’ in 2001, which is actually a true story of an experience I had with my first girlfriend.

I’m still single so if you’d like to know more about me please call me on 078 377525 or send me an Email at diamondoscar@operamail.com

Last but not least, I’m also part of the new gospel group called ‘EXODUS’ and our first album ‘Yesu Akomao’ which is also produced at TVR by Geoffery is in the pipeline. It’s going to be mastered in America by Suudi Recordz.
