Humphrey Oringo

My name is HUMPREY ORINGO a Kenyan/Ugandan aged 26. I dropped out of school after `A’ level due to financial problems. I’m a born again Christian at HOLY CHURCH OF CHRIST MULAGO. 

I started ma singing in primary St. Peter's Boys’ School at Nsambya and later on joined the local group called the RAGGA BOYZ that mainly toured schools and institutions. In my ‘O’ level I then joined the SHARING BAND, which performed in the major hotels around the country and eventually launched the Straight Talk paper.
Also recorded the album to Safe Guard Youths From Aids and I still have a copy of it with me. 

Here again the band split, so we formed the BLOOD BROTHERS BAND, which used to play at SABRINA'S PUB on Bombo road every Friday.
But due to financial problems we had to stop coz was not enough to support the group, now every one had to look for a solution in order to live.

I personally got saved a few years ago. Many of the former members of the band are working in various positions: Solomon works with UTV, William is News reader at UTV as well, Alex, now with Data Marshals works as a sound engeener for big shows that come to Uganda, Ssali works with the Nile special promotional dept., Fred went to the UK and I work with a computer company as an a/c helper but the groups still perform at Hunters Club on Ggaba road.
