Kid Fox Unplugged
The Unplugged sessions are meant to showcase the musical talent in an artist; this time round we had Kid Fox. In my own view these sessions make you (an artist), help you gain courage and you are also supposed to prove yourself as a musician.
Kid Fox clad in jeans and a t-shirt stepped on stage a few minutes past nine, escorted on stage by the Blessed Entertainment Crew and performed hit makers like Zinunula, Bbusu, Love is a good feeling, Mama Uganda, Brothers and Sisters, Kukiriza, Boss di ting and Abatuuze. He was later joined by Chizzo and performed “Eyajja” and performed on of Bob Marley’s song. He also sang about his musical journey which was pretty interesting. He was also joined by Bebe Cool to perform their hit-song “Kapele”. Unlike the earlier performances this song was not rehearsed thus they just “jammed” and it turned out great.
Unlike other unplugged events, we had an auction (didn’t really understand this because free CDs where given out at the entrance). One fan bought the CD 20 USD and Bebe Cool bought it at 50,000/-, he took about four and gave them to the crowd. Kid Fox had pack of talented vocalists who set the crowd ablaze when they performed each of their own hit songs.
Those who attended the brief show all agreed that Kid Fox is one of the most talented dancehall artists we have today.
