M-Trinity
M-trinity,
an urban contemporary artist whose real names are Marvin Kamoga
Trinity, best describes himself as a sociable, polite and an
approachable person.
He began singing in 1999 with the Church Mass Choir. He started
singing with a group of people called the MMF Paradise Tenants.
Whereby MMF stands for his Marvin Trinity, Michael Holy and Fred
Precious, who were also fellow band members. Michael Holy and
Fred Precious perform at the Saint's Gate Pentecostal Church .
The group was inspired by R.Kelly and the generally mimed songs
like Gotham City and I believe I can Fly but as time went on
school separated them.
During this time he was inspired to go solo, he started by
writing his own music and generally performed Scripture Union
functions, wedding receptions, handover parties and karaokes. He
recorded with Joseph Segawa with whom he recorded a song called
Solid Rock and it was featured on his album called “Yanwanila”
After this he traveled to the States and performed at a church
called Perfect Love Revival Church and at the same time he
attended Bible College . When he was done with Bible College he
came back home and did and album, titled “it's yo love” which he
will be launching on the 15 th of July, 2006. It is a six track
album and he wrote all the songs himself and the album was
produced by Job. Songs on the album include; Its yo love, Mama
love, I love you so much, Clap your hands where he featured Gidy,
Nakutaka where he featured Emon and finally “Tudduke” where he
featured Preacher. The album consists of both Gospel and Urban
Contemporary music
About It's yo love;
Marvin “M-Trinity” considers this to be his best song because he
wrote it during a time when he was broken hearted and at that
time almost all his friends were also facing the same problem.
It felt like man was not genuine. Time when you try to be good,
be your self and do all the good things you can think of you end
up getting hurt and played.
N.B don't forget M-Trinity will be
launching his album on the 15 th of July, 2006 at Namirembe
