Mad
Tiger is seen here entertaining the crowd at Lido Beach Resort,
Entebbe
Mad Tiger, a contemporary Ugandan artist hit the charts with his
famous "Obulamu bwensi', which is a melodious story about
nightlife in Kampala. He talks about the time when the birds are
going home to their nests and the young and old people are
coming out to go and party after a longs day's work; a time when
the girls bring out their mini skirts and the grannies too are
going out to party.
Tiger must be very conversant with this kind of life as he had
been and MC and regular performer at Angenoir Discotheque
together with others like Emperor Orlando. His song was first
played in Angenoir and soon, all radio stations and club/mobile
Djs were fencing for it as it was a crowd puller at the
discotheque. Tiger became an instant star and his flowing sense
or humor, which is exuded in his music makes the fans really
love him.
He made his video for this track at the time when there were
very few Ugandan videos and it was a big step. We shall look
back at it 20 years from now and remember how our industry
started out and reminisce about the good old days and those that
made them special.
Without further ado,
We shall soon get for you Mad Tiger's detailed profile and
lyrics for Obulamu Bwensi. Keep watching this space.
