Munnogy
Hey,
welcome to Munnogy, the album and the personality
Personality – He is 21 years old, doing hip-hop music. He
started doing music in 1989 as a dancer at six years old. By
1996, He was writing and rapping, now am recording. He love
kids, music, traveling and working out.
He was inspired by 2pac (R.I.P), Jay-z, Bobby Brown, and MC
Hammer from the International scene. On the local scene, he was
inspired by the late Menton Summer, Shanks Vivide, Peter
Sematimba, Miriam Ndagire, Kawesa and Philly Lutaya (R.I.P).
He loves all kinds of music and he really appreciates local
music because it relates to our environment and behaviour. He
chooses hip-hop because it is what he does best.
On a personal level he would like to urge parents to support
their children pursue their dreams and not oppress their wishes
simply because they expect them to. Let the children do what
they can be it music, modeling, acting or even mid-wiving.
Actually, the way things are turning out, it is time you
identify their talents and invest in them to enhance diversity
of jobs and job creation.
Album – Shine on is the first single off his forth-coming album.
It is the story of a pretty stubborn girl that gets used and
dumped by different guys because of love. The best thing about
her however is that she is strong, works very hard and in spite
of everything becomes successful in life. The song was inspired
by the fact that there are very many single mothers today,
including his mum and you ask him, he thinks they are doing
fine. He would like to thank all of you for supporting your
children.
The album contains 13 songs, and intro and a skit. When it
chops, you will be in for a full 2 hours of entertainment. He
has worked Tune Vine Studios (Geoffrey), Chain Thought and
featured several upcoming artists.
Watch out for it in the stores by November and for the video
too. Remember, support local music and together we shall take it
to another level.
Finally, he would like to thank Music Uganda for their great
work, radio stations that play our songs and the papers that
write about us. Last but not least all co-operate companies the
promote local talent.
