Many of you have been made to believe that Nicky Nola is a member of the famous Jungle Beat crew (I guess with the stage introductions, "like Nicky Nola from The Jungle Beat Crew"). 

Born Nicholas Tatambuka, had his education at Kitante Hill School and Kingston Social Services for his Computer Training.

Nicky began singing in his primary six miming songs of famous artists like Usher, Ray J.  In his Senior 2 he won an award for the All Kampala Original Song Competition that tool place at Cine Afrik.  

Nicky Nola started doing music on a professional level in his Senior Five.  In 2004, Shadrack the Managing Director of Platinum Records called him after he had seen on stage and invited him to join him. Later on that year, he joined the Hip Hop Canvas. Under the Hip hop Canvas, they released a 14-track album on which he featured on 4 tracks i.e. ‘Mother Africa, Hip Hop Party, First Love and Sitakiwewe’.  In 2006 they released a single “Brand New Day”  In 2005 he teamed up with Jungle Beat and did a few collabos with Mosh like “Yegwe, Nkaaba and Down Low”

Nick Nola releases I Love the Way featuring Bella By UGPulse.com Entertainment

Nick Nola releases his first song as the Face of UGPulse.

Young Ugandan RnB artist Nick Nola has just released his first new single for over year.

Nick Nola has been busy in the studio since his union with the entertainment website UGPulse.com, recording with Uganda's top producers such as Swangz Ave, Washington, Kiwuwa and GoodEnuff Studios. The artist and his management at UGPulse decided to package the new material into an album to be released later in the last quarter of 2010.

Nicky Nola releases new song

Nick Nola has been involved in several successful high profile projects when it comes to the music industry in Uganda. He is only turning 25 this July yet the young man is a veteran in the industry with his no-fail collaborations with other artists and authentic RnB vocals.

In his Senior 2 in High School, he wins an award for the All Kampala Original Song Competition at Cine Afrik.

2004 Still in his teens, he is discovered by Shadrack and called upon to join Shadrack on hip hop projects.

Nick Nola - Face of UGPulse Listed in Top 15 African Breakout Artists of the Year 2010 by By UGPulse Entertainment Reporter

Apart from releasing 3 new videos and releasing 2 brand new songs, Nick Nola has spent most of 2010 in studios working on his upcoming album.

Ladybrille Magazine, a leading African Entertainment site based in California, USA, with a large African Diaspora audience has put UGPulse's RnB/African Urban Fusion artist Nick Nola on the list of the 15 African Breakout Artists of the Year 2010. Hip hop Artist, One8's Navio, is the other Ugandan on the list.

UGPulse’s R&B/ African Urban Fusion artist Nick Nola has received an acknowledgment for his music by appearing in the Ladybrille magazine, a leading African Entertainment site based in California, USA, as one of the 15 African breakthrough artists of the year 2010.

The list also includes the one8 Ugandan representative Daniel Kigozi alias Navio plus other artists from South Africa, Nigeria among others.

Navio comes 7th while Nick Nola comes 15th on a list that also features artists like Kan’aan of the “waving flag” fame, P-Square among others.

The list was selected according to votes by a large audience across Africa and Europe as well.

Nick Nola’s first appearance onto the music scene was in “mother Africa” then “Brand new day” after which he teamed up alongside Rabadaba, GNL and Mackenzie in “Sembera” before working with Bella on “I love the way” and then “Okulinda and aliwa” as his solo tunes.
