1 on 1 with Ronnie Banton

I hope you have heard ‘Kawuna’, one of the many songs the hit Kampala like a storm, Music Uganda had a 1 on 1 with the man behind this ‘tune’ as he may prefer to call it.  He talks about his solo projects (he is still a member of the City limit Crew)

Among a few close friends he is known as “Salongo” and to many just plain Roni Bunton a member of City Limit Crew, a group that consists of him and Dr Propa. Born on 3rd March to Mr. and Mrs. Tomsange Semusu of Bakuli. Ronnie describes himself as an easy simple, charming, sometimes so serious and funny.

onnie Bunton has an album out ‘Kawuna’ which consists songs like ‘Kawuna, Tonyanovuga, Na-ro, Muveeko, Baibe, Engatto, Kankole and Nsimye nyo mama’. Ronnie has just completed work on his second album titled ‘Obutasoma’. It consists of tracks like ‘Pigilisa, Bam Bam, Omukwano gwo, Tumusinze and Radio.’ On this album he has worked with various artists like Chagga and Grace Nakimera
