My names are Karigirwa Sandra Nicol a Ugandan of Rwandese descent, I was born in 1985 in Kigali, we moved to Uganda when I was so young I have attending school in Uganda

I started singing at the age of 8 doing mainly Rwandese songs and Christian songs then I studied some musical instruments majored in the clarinet some guitar then I did a grade one

in piano  from 1999 I have been mostly into dancing that I do perfectly but that is the cultural Kinya-rwanda dance I have performed with Crane performers , Ndere Troupe and Tender Talent and  I have performed  in the USA, Germany, Tanzania, Burundi, Rwanda and definitely Uganda

I recently went to the studio to do music which saw me record a six track album. The album that is in English Kinya-rwanda and Luganda was produced by my brother called Didi in KK Studioz in Najjanankumbi.  All the songs on the album were written by me except two tracks that I co-wrote with some artist called Bishop who also features on the songs the songs on the album are about love, life and party

The first track off the album is called “Nyina wumuntu” which is in Kinya-rwanda meaning “the mother" here I talk about the importance of a mom and  all she goes through to see us.  The song that has a video which is produced by Didi.  I decided to release it first  coz its more from the heart and also wanted to reach to the Rwandese community in Uganda and abroad  this album means a lot to me being my first seed and I dedicate it to my dad Mr. Gordon Nicol of scotch production who sponsored me through this and who is my mentor my everything.
