1 on 1 with Spontaneous by Isaac Ssejjombwe

Seguya Faisal (Rabadaba), Paragon and Gatimo aka Gambu Timothy are multi talented members of an all boys group known as Spontaneous and they spoke to Music Uganda about different aspect in the music industry.

Three years in the business, the groups has released hits like Nyongeza featuring Tanzania's AY, ani akumanyi with Grace and are to launch their first 12 track called "House of Talent" album come January 2009.

Without Paragon who traveled abroad a few years back, the duo are pioneers of the Luga Raga style which is yet to make an impact to  Ugandans but filled with ambition, they believe they are the next big thing in the music industry.

Rabadaba

With dedication, perseverance and good behavior, Spontaneous believe they will be able to overcome the marketing and financial problems they are facing lately " marketing and cash flow are the biggest problem we are encountering at the moment because it is not only DJ's but also radio and television stations have to be paid for one to get ample airplay." says Rabadaba.

While still taking baby steps in the industry, Spontaneous believe that luck of music circulation and distribution by their manager Shadrack of platinum Entertainment has lead to their inconsistence in the music industry.

Gatimo

Bennie man and BG Seagal, are their inspiration and Spontaneous do this kind of music out of love and want many upcoming artists to follow the same direction. The duo also believe that Ugandan music is on the right track having various artists in different categories like hip hop, R’n’b, Reggae, Raga among others apart from Kenyan and Tanzanian artists who have only one kind of style. "It's good to have variety because you give people choice" explains Gatimo.

Besides music, the duos are also in cinematography and Information Technology (IT) businesses respectively and have been recording their music at Goodenuff studios before joining Swangz Avenue.
