Up-close with Ngoni.
Recently just dropped the video of the song “Biguula” and have also released a new song “Mimi na wewe” featuring AY. Our snoops were able to get hold of the two musical warriors as their name suggests and this is what they had to say.
About “Biguula”
It’s a feel good song. “We always like our fans not to get so serious with life that is why we come up with songs like “Digi” says Pato. It has a party feeling and in the song they appreciate the female species. It is a simple, straight forward song asking everyone to dance.
About “Mimi Na Wewe” featuring AY
This is a much more serious song. Talks about the problems people face when in a good relationship ….. so much jealousy and people talk so much against them. In the song, they advice people not to listen such, not to believe in rumors. It is a more mature song and therefore brings out a more serious side of the Ngoni unlike Digi, Nasiima Gwe, and Black Yellow Red. The song was written and produced by the Ngoni.
Goodenuff this year
There is a lot to expect from Goodenuff this year. It is doing a variety of songs from Hip Hop to folk music e.g. the UTAKE Anthem by Juakali, Babaluku and AY, Drop Fire – by Paul & Josh, Tafash - hiphop from Kenya and the usual UG flavor from artists like Priscilla Kalibala, Michael Ross and many more.
