
Henry Tigan
Henry Tigan, whose real name is Henry Kirumaganyi joined the music industry while still in secondary school in 2000. He was just a teenager in S.2 at Afrikana Interland College.
"I was inspired by Wayne Wonder because I felt he had a good voice and I could sing like him," he says. "In Uganda, I admire the late Philly Lutaaya because of his message which is still fresh in our ears." Henry Tigan does reggae music because he feels it is the genre that can Be used to sing about real situations.

"My first single is called Eilanga. In the song, I tackle the different problems affecting common people in our country, especially those who are suffering yet no one has come out to their rescue," he says. "I'm not giving a solution to their problems but the message I'm sending to them is to stick to God." Besides that, Henry Tigan is working on other songs like Lwaki Omutuntuza and Tebakulimba with different producers like Steve Jean, Geoffrey Lwanga and Henry Kiwuwa.
The student who is pursuing a degree in Adult and Continuing Education at Kyambogo University hopes to make it big in Uganda's music industry.

Kirumaganyi Henry known by his stage name Henry Tigan is commonly known for his simple personality and with songs like Abogezi, Nsiimye Gwe among others, he’s perhaps one of those artists who have kept the consistence in the music industry.
So what’s Tigan up to of late?
Well I’m currently projecting on country tours, my upcoming album with five songs so far done and currently, the shooting of my latest single Wine up.
